In this role, you will have the opportunity to work for a leading advisory CPA firm, Baker Tilly, providing clients with a coast-to-coast and global advantage in major regions of the . and in many of the world’s leading financial centers. As an Experienced Associate in the Internal Partnership Tax Services department, you will have the opportunity to specialize in US individual tax services and work side-by-side with firm leadership to build the business and have a direct impact on the firm’s success. This is a permanent placement position with a salary range of $61,070 to $105,480, depending on qualifications and location. Responsibilities: - Provide tax compliance and advisory services to partnerships as a trusted member of the engagement team - Participate in tax research projects and help draft IRS responses and address other tax authority inquiries - Team with leaders on special projects in various areas of flow through taxation - Develop recommendations to share with leadership and strategize on complex tax matters - Communicate and team with specialty tax practices on state and local, high net worth, international, research and development, and credits and incentives areas - Learn and grow from direct on the job coaching and mentoring, as well as participating in firm wide learning and development programs - Utilize entrepreneurial skills to network and build relationships internally - Support the growth and development of team members through the Baker Tilly Care and Teach philosophy - Enjoy work-life balance with friendships, social activities, and team outings Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in accounting or law, or a related degree in business, with sufficient course work and credits to sit for the CPA and/or Bar exam in the state you are being considered - CPA license preferred - 1+ year(s) of experience providing federal tax compliance and consulting services in a public accounting firm preferred - Strong skills in time management, communication, interpersonal relationships, collaboration, and problem solving - Leadership, project management, organizational, and analytical skills - Proficiency in Microsoft Suite - No immigration sponsorship available for this position Other Information: - Remote work currently available - Compensation range: $61,070 to $105,480, influenced by factors such as skills, experience, qualifications, and location - Annual bonus plan eligibility Join the team at Baker Tilly and take advantage of opportunities for professional growth and development, as well as a work-life balance.
