Are you a passionate attorney looking to make a difference in the lives of low-income individuals and families? Connecticut Legal Services (CLS) is seeking a dedicated attorney to join our team in the Right to Counsel Program (RTC) in Bridgeport.

The successful candidate will use their legal training to advocate for low-income communities and further CLS' holistic and client-centered approach. This position will primarily focus on eviction defense and other housing matters in the Bridgeport area.

Responsibilities:
- Maintain an active caseload of representation and advice cases, including court appearances and administrative hearings
- Conduct community outreach and coordinate with social service agencies
- Identify larger trends and issues for clients and work with the CLS Housing Unit to develop strategies to address them

Qualifications:
- Deep commitment to advocacy for low-income, vulnerable, and marginalized communities
- Admission to the Connecticut bar
- Spanish language fluency preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently
- Creativity and flexibility in problem-solving

Start Date: As soon as possible
Compensation: Salary depends on experience ($61,362-$120,584); excellent vacation/leave, health, and other benefits.
