About the Role:

- Seeking a talented attorney with experience in insurance and/or personal injury litigation.
- Responsible for handling and managing a docket of litigated and pre-litigated matters.
- Strong attention to detail, execution oriented, high business acumen, excellent analytical and writing skills.
- Enthusiastic, well organized, a team player, and self-motivated.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to operate in a fast-paced environment, and a healthy dose of humor and humility.
- Reports into a Senior Counsel, Insurance Litigation.

Responsibilities:

- Manage a growing docket of personal injury and interpersonal matters.
- Strategize on scalable processes and procedures for efficient and consistent handling of personal injury matters.
- Prepare and respond to discovery and dispositive motions.
- Work with outside counsel to ensure consistent and effective handling and reporting of information from ongoing personal injury matters.
- Manage all aspects of outside counsel relationships, including litigation strategy, work product, and budgets.

Requirements:

- . degree.
- 4+ years of experience at a leading law firm and/or in-house legal department, handling insurance litigation, coverage issues, and/or pre-litigation disputes.
- Familiar with personal injury litigation, including managing the collection, review, and production of documents, preparing witnesses for depositions and/or trial testimony, and complying with third party subpoenas.
- Able to craft legal solutions in novel ways, provide practical advice, and properly balance risks and business reward.
- Committed to fostering a diverse, equitable, and inclusive work environment and have prioritized participating in DEI initiatives in past roles.
- Strong organizational skills, ability to juggle multiple projects, collaborate as a team, and work independently.

Compensation:

- Location-specific base salary range: $180,900—$285,600 USD.
- Actual compensation within the pay range decided based on factors including skills, prior relevant experience, and specific work location.
- For roles that can be filled remotely, base salary is localized according to employee work location.
- Comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees includes healthcare benefits, 401(k) plan with employer match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, wellbeing benefits, paid time off, paid parental leave, and several paid holidays.
- Compensation package for this role includes opportunities for equity grants.
