Summary:
The American Red Cross is seeking a highly motivated Senior Legal Counsel to support corporate and commercial transactions in the Office of the General Counsel. This fully remote position offers a competitive salary range of $150K - $165K annually and a comprehensive benefits package. The ideal candidate will have a Juris Doctor degree, be licensed to practice in the United States, and have a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience. what you need to succeed (required/minimum qualifications):
• juris doctor from an accredited law school and a minimum of 7 years relevant experience
• licensed to practice and in good standing in a united states state bar
• proven experience practicing as a corporate and commercial transactions attorney
• strong transactional background, with solid drafting and negotiation experience and a firm understanding of contract structure and contract lifecycles
• understand critical business operations and structure strategies, agreements, and transactions necessary to address key business issues
• excellent time management skills and ability to adjust to changing project priorities in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
• perceptive and flexible, with exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities and ability to work in a diverse and collaborative team environment
• proactive self-starter and team player with the capacity to regulate and perform under stress
• superior oral and written communication skills and the ability to break down legal matters into everyday language for clients and business partners at all levels within the organization to understand
