# Tax Manager - Real Estate

RSM US LLP is looking for a Tax Manager to join our expanding Investment Fund practice. This particular role offers the opportunity to join a high-performing, high-growth team while working with complex clients in the Real Estate industry with a focus on real estate private equity funds and REIT’s. As a Tax Manager for RSM, you will be responsible for providing detailed review and analysis of complex partnership returns with a focus on real estate clients, serve as a Career Advisor, train and develop staff members, work on multiple complex issues, serve as a Tax client service coordinator, advise clients on a full spectrum of corporate tax services, reviewing research findings, assist with new business development, manage corporate client needs with respect to tax services and federal and state tax compliance, and remain up-to-date on current tax practices and changes in tax law.

## Qualifications

To be considered for the Tax Manager - Real Estate role, applicants must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, an active CPA, Enrolled Agent or Licensed JD, 5+ years of experience in business taxation working for a Big 4 or a large national, regional or local accounting firm, prior tax compliance & consulting experience serving real estate private equity clients & REIT’s, ability to work closely with clients to answer questions or to collect necessary information for tax service requirements, effective verbal and written communication skills, working knowledge of tax code and technical aspects of tax preparation and compliance, strong technical skills in accounting and tax preparation, industry specialization a plus, ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, experience preparing or reviewing accounting for income taxes in accordance with ASC 740’s, and experience in dealing with international tax matters a plus.

The compensation range for the Tax Manager - Real Estate role is $84,200 - $183,500.
