What you'll do...

As Senior Counsel, you will collaborate with the business, People partners, and other stakeholders with regard to . labor and employment law. You will provide guidance and advice to People partners and business leaders in the context of employment-related laws and regulations. You will support leaders relative to performance management, leave and disability issues, terminations, and all aspects of the human resources or People function.

Responsibilities:
• Provide legal guidance and advice to business partners and People partners on employment-related laws and regulations.
• Support leaders in performance management, leave and disability issues, terminations, and other human resources matters.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with labor and employment laws.
• Engage, direct, and supervise outside counsel in the context of administrative charges and attorney demand letters.
• Develop and foster relationships with business and People partners.

• Identify the need for and direct training on labor and employment laws.
• Manage multiple projects and issues simultaneously.

Qualifications:
• Law degree from an accredited law school.
• 5 years of experience in law.
• License to practice law in at least one state.
• Extensive experience providing multi-jurisdictional employment counseling for business clients.
• Subject matter expertise in ADA, FMLA, and Title VII.
• Strong understanding of labor and employment laws and regulations.
• Ability to collaborate and build relationships with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
• Strong organizational skills.
