Mid- to Senior-level Patent Litigation Associate
The candidate will draft pleadings, motions, memoranda and correspondence for use in state and federal court, arbitration, and mediation proceedings. Draft and respond to complex discovery requests. Confer, negotiate, and communicate with opposing counsel. Prepare for, defend, and conduct depositions. Prepare for trial, including preparing exhibit lists, evidentiary objections, motions in limine and witness preparation. Prepare Federal Circuit appeal briefs and supervise and train junior associates.

Qualification and Experience The candidate must have 6-8 years of patent litigation experience including significant experience with drafting and responding to pleadings, preparing infringement and invalidity claim charts, Markman and claim construction proceedings, patent specific fact and expert discovery, inter partes reviews and overall litigation strategy. Patent trial experience is a plus. USPTO admission and an undergraduate degree in electrical engineering or computer science, or substantial experience litigating matters in these or similar disciplines, are highly desired. Strong academic credentials are required.
