Responsibilities:


- Job title: Insurance Defense Attorney
- Location: Providence, Rhode Island, United States
- Experience: Minimum of one year as an attorney
- Salary range: $78, - $127,
- Education: Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
- Benefits: Eligible for performance bonuses, 20 days of flexible time off per year, personal holidays, pension plan, and 401(k) plan with matching contributions
- Skills: Strong relationship-building, analytical thinking, process-oriented, and communication skills
- Knowledge: Familiarity with insurance law and proficiency with relevant technologies
- Role: Represent Liberty Mutual and policyholders in moderately complex civil litigation and workers’ compensation matters
- Responsibilities: Manage entire legal process, research and develop legal strategies, build and maintain relationships with internal and external partners, and draft legal documents
- Qualifications: Membership in the MA Bar and special licenses to practice before boards or federal courts preferred
