Paralegal, Real Estate - Denver, CO Salary range: $90,000 - $110,000 per year Job description: - Ares Management is seeking a Real Estate Paralegal in Denver, CO to join their global legal team and assist in overseeing real estate funds and investments. - This role requires significant experience in real estate, including asset management, acquisitions, and dispositions. - The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated team player with excellent communication and organizational skills. - Responsibilities include drafting and negotiating agreements, coordinating audits, managing service of process, and maintaining transaction records. - Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree, Paralegal Certificate, and 5-7 years of experience in real estate. - Compensation includes a base salary of $90,000 - $110,000 per year, with the potential for a performance-based bonus. - Ares also offers comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and more. Key Responsibilities: - Draft and negotiate various real estate agreements, including confidentiality, brokerage, and service agreements. - Coordinate and assist with audit response process, including communication with various business teams. - Manage service of process and run bankruptcy/litigation/OFAC related searches. - Maintain transaction records and assist with insurance claims and litigation deadlines. - Collaborate with investment and operations teams, paralegals, legal coordinators, and other departments. - Maintain a high level of accuracy and detail orientation in all tasks. - Be flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. - Possess strong communication and customer service skills. - Continuously seek to improve processes and increase efficiency. - Willingness to learn new skills and take on new projects. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree required; Paralegal Certificate preferred. - 5-7 years of experience as a real estate paralegal. - Previous experience in the financial industry is a plus. - Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. - Notary Public certification preferred. Reporting Relationships: - This position reports to the Associate General Counsel, Real Estate.
