Job Overview:

The Mid-Senior Level Attorney will be responsible for performing advanced-level legal research, analysis, and writing. They will collaborate with senior attorneys to develop strategies, create effective legal arguments, and handle all aspects of client cases. Duties:

  • Perform advanced-level legal research, analysis, and writing
  • Research and write legal memoranda, motions, pleadings, and other court and agency filings
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys on strategies and approaches to client issues
  • Write detailed and complex supporting argumentation
  • Work with clients to gather and organize supporting documentation, and manage case administration
  • Handle all aspects of discovery

Requirements:

  • 5-10 years of experience in legal practice
  • Admitted to practice in the District of Columbia or eligible to waive in
  • Solid academic credentials
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Organizational and planning skills with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Information gathering, tracking, and monitoring skills
  • Ability to prioritize, manage simultaneous projects, and meet deadlines
  • Self-starter, self-motivated, and able to work independently
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with colleagues and clients

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school
  • Admission to the District of Columbia Bar or eligibility for a waiver
