Iowa Legal Aid is seeking dedicated and passionate individuals to join their team as Staff Attorneys in multiple regional offices throughout the state. Founded in 1977, Iowa Legal Aid provides free legal assistance and community education to low-income and vulnerable individuals in all 99 counties of Iowa. By securing essential needs such as housing, domestic violence protection, and healthcare, Iowa Legal Aid brings hope, dignity, and justice to those in need.

Responsibilities:
- Provide legal representation and advice to clients in administrative and court proceedings
- Prioritize cases involving housing, domestic violence, income maintenance, healthcare, individual rights, and consumer issues
- Appear in court frequently and serve clients through outreach events and clinics
- Participate in impact advocacy to bring about systemic change and achieve justice for low-income individuals

Qualifications:
- Law school graduate licensed to practice law in Iowa or eligible for admission on motion
- Prior legal experience preferred
- Demonstrated interest in poverty law and commitment to serving low-income individuals
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Spanish or other language skills are a plus
