## Tax Services Manager – Financial Services Office – Customer Tax Operations and Reporting (CTOR) **Job Summary** EY is looking for a Tax Services Manager to join their Financial Services Office in the Customer Tax Operations and Reporting (CTOR) team. This role offers the opportunity to focus on . tax information reporting & withholding matters. This individual will be part of a group environment on challenging information reporting and withholding engagements across all financial services sectors. The successful candidate will have a passion for solving complex challenges and will interface daily with superiors, peers and subordinates, and clients on large and small CTOR projects. **Job Location** New York, with other locations available in the US **Salary** Competitive salary, ranging from $109,600 to $200,900 in most geographic locations in the US. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $131,500 to $228,300. **Job Responsibilities** - Read and interpret IRS Code, regulations and instructions - Strong writing skills for policy and procedure writing is a must - Ability to interface with all facets of our business - Ability to multitasking and project management capability - Creative problem solving, strong critical thinking - Ability to drive success as both an individual contributor and team member - Conduct a gap analysis of the current state of clients’ policies, procedures and systems and write business requirements - Prepare documentation including presentations and flow charts - Technical analysis, process improvement and respond to requests for proposals from clients - Support the development of innovative technology solutions, as well as train and manage staff located in remote delivery centers - Participate in industry groups such as SIFMA, ABA, IIB - Understand and implement tax rules - Demonstrate interest in tax information reporting and withholding work in Chapter 3, Chapter 4 and Chapter 61 **Skills and Attributes for Success** - A preferred - A minimum of 5 years of relevant tax consulting or tax operational experience - Be a licensed attorney, CPA, Project Management Professional, Six Sigma, Lean or equivalent certification or a certified member of the Institute for Professionals in Taxation or have the ability to obtain one of these designations - Active participation in industry groups such as SIFMA, ABA, IIB - The ability to understand and implement tax rules - A demonstrated interest in tax information reporting and withholding work in Chapter 3, Chapter 4 and Chapter 61 or some experience working with these matters - Strong organizational skills and a proven record of multitasking and working effectively across multiple projects and deadlines - Great communication and leadership skills - Thrive in an exciting and growing team environment **What We Offer** EY offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business.
