We are looking for a Tax Services Senior to join our Financial Services Office Customer Tax Operation Reporting (CTOR) Information Reporting & Withholding team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting clients with mission-critical operational tax issues and customer reporting issues. **Job Responsibilities** - Interface daily with superiors, peers and subordinates and clients on large and small IRW projects - Interpret IRS Code and Regulations, draft guidance, data analyzation and requirements development - Assist clients in understanding relevant tax rules and implementing changes to their operations, processes and systems - Prepare documentation including presentations and flow charts - Involvement in technical analysis, process improvement and respond to requests for proposals from clients **Skills and Attributes for Success** - Ability to read and interpret IRS Code, regulations and instructions - Strong writing skills for policy and procedure writing - Ability to interface with all facets of our business - Ability to multitask and project management capability - Creative problem solving, strong critical thinking **Qualifications** - - A minimum of 2 years of relevant tax consulting or tax operational experience - Be a licensed attorney, CPA, Project Management Professional, Six Sigma, Lean or equivalent certification or a certified member of the Institute for Professionals in Taxation or have the ability to obtain one of these designations - Active participation in industry groups such as SIFMA, ABA, IIB - The ability to understand and implement tax rules - A demonstrated interest in tax information reporting and withholding work in Chapter 3, Chapter 4 and Chapter 61 or some experience working with these matters **What We Look For** - Strong organizational skills and a proven record of multitasking and working effectively across multiple projects and deadlines - Great communication and leadership skills - Thrive in an exciting and growing team environment - Ready to progress in your career, take ownership of your development and make a measurable difference in both your career and your community **Compensation** We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The salary range for this job in most geographic locations in the US is $86,500 to $142,700. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $103,800 to $162,100. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
