Google Reviews: 5.0 ★★★★★ Current Employee, less than 1 year Best Environmental Litigation Firm Attorney At Law in Dallas, TX Recommend CEO Approval Business Outlook Pros I came to work at Brewer as a lateral Environmental attorney. This firm has some of the most sophisticated cases in Environmental Law around! I can say without exaggeration that the in-house consultant team that Brewer keeps on retainer and the attorneys know more about PFCs than just about anyone else in the world! You get to work on some of the biggest and most socially significant cases any lawyers get to work in their lifetime -- and this is particularly true for Environmental issues, where the matters in controversy are worth billions. For an Environmental attorney like me, this kind of work is very exciting and enjoyable, so 5/5 there. I don't really understand what all the complaints about ""hours"" have been about. Have you ever heard of an attorney working big, sophisticated cases who didn't work long hours? Why go to law school then? The management is great: 5/5. Put simply, you are surrounded by colleagues who are the best of the best in their fields and it rubs off on you. All the partners know their fields very well. Bill Brewer is amazing; a real professional -- remember folks, he didn't get to the top of the food chain by being bad at what he does! So, in sum, this is a job that is professionally rewarding and interesting. The complex Environmental practice is especially great, and you would be hard pressed to find work of comparable sophistication at most other firms. The job also pays VERY well. What's not to like? Cons There are some ups and downs, like with any other job. This one just happens to be more interesting and pays more.
Raise the salary and benefits. Keep on expanding.
This firm is an excellent place to work. Management runs things very well. You have the opportunity to excel and grow here.
Work can get stressful. The money isn't as great as it would be at bigger firms.
Upper management needs to be honest and trustworthy with its employees. Our work hours should be laid out in advance and bonus opportunities should be clear and concise.
A well-paying firm that goes out of its way to make you feel like you
Unfortunately, overtime work is not merited with bonuses. For the most part, bonuses are not granted when they need to be, which creates a dishonest and disheartening vibe inside of upper management. The workload at times can become heavy and you'll be spending a lot of working hours in a day.
Thank you.
