Improving communication would make associates feel more stable and secure in their jobs. Nobody wants to be taken by surprise by a major change they should have been warned about.

Pros:
This is a pretty standard firm, as New York law firms go. It's not glamourous, but the people here are very nice and the partners are very accommodating with time off requests and the like.

Cons:
There isn't a lot of communication when it comes to major decisions affecting the firm's future. Big decisions are taken, but the information isn't passed down the chain to the people it's going to affect.
