Scam clients on May 19, 2024 - Former Employee Mr. in San Francisco City,

Full time 2018 Former Employee

Advice to law firm management:
Fire that guy and give clients value for money

Pros:
They tell clients what they want to hear. Only ask for a bit up front. Then they ask for more and more and every time that single mom says she is out of money they tell her they have to drop the case. Essentially they drain their clients dry to farten themselves and donate turkeys to justify themselves.

Cons:
Pretend to care about justice and clients when it is obviously BS

Partners to Avoid and Why:
Mr. Allen Shoikhetbrod is the kind of guy they made partner because he brings in the cash without remorse

Favorite Things About this Firm:
That I never have to deal with them again

Should be 0 stars - DONT WORK HERE on May 19, 2024 - Former Employee Mr. in San Francisco City,

Full time 2021 Former Employee

Cons:
Anyone who is considering - DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. I wish I would've listened to the reviews and warnings I received from professionals in the area. I have never been at an employer that was so money hungry, greedy, and abusive to the support staff/hourly employees. All this firm cares about is money and cutting corners with employees earning their partners the max profit..... and then implement management to make support staff feel inadequate and that they're never working hard enough. Support staff work tirelessly, above and beyond, and have been manipulated to believe otherwise........when they are being paid equivalent to those at Burger King. When hiring Tully Rinckey paints a picture of endless opportunities for those considering the law field, and speak of promotions, commission (actually $20 amazon gift cards for hundreds of thousands in rev), until you are actually out of training -they'll never mention that again. Management consistently promised employees 6 month/1 yr raises or bonuses, and when the time period approached, they'd spin a bunch of nonsense, back paddling and implementing contracts to have employees agree to be compensated barely above minimum wage for YEARS. One of the must humor able common occurrences was the guise of a 'promotion' to support staff, which was actually an excuse to throw them into a void in another department, learn a new job, and not even receive a cent more. I have never been so disgusted by a place of employment and don't know how they've gotten away with it. The business management department is a joke and has some of the most socially inept, passive aggressive, hostile & mean spirited individuals in positions - only to belittle the support staff on a daily basis. They are known across the capital region as having the poorest retention rate in attorneys and staff, this place truly deserves to be shut down. Don't waste your time or allow yourself to be manipulated - everything about them being an 'international' 'employee friendly' firm is actually LAUGHABLE to anybody whose actually worked there. Also had colleagues of color report to HR that they were being compensated less or ignored by management. You guys are literally the worst.

Fantastic Company To Work For on May 19, 2024 - Current Employee Mr. in San Francisco City,

Full time Current Employee

Advice to law firm management:
I'm not the right person to give advice to people that might work harder than I do.

Pros:
The Real Estate Team is very knowledgeable and thorough. They take very good care of sellers, purchasers and banks. Staff is helpful and willing to train the right candidate. Most of the military attorneys have served their country and can relate to their clients. Although some cases are difficult to read and talk about, the attorneys get the job done in getting our veterans what they deserve. Attorneys are willing to walk the staff through anything they don't understand or need assistance with.

Cons:
As with ANY job, cash bonuses go a longer way over gift cards!!

Partners to Avoid and Why:
I've never had an issue with ANY partner. They've always responded to my questions and concerns and treat me as an equal.

Favorite Things About this Firm:
Quarterly Luncheons and finding out how every office and team is doing. Not being hovered over constantly; the managers can tell who is working hard or hardly working. The accolades that support staff receives. Nothing goes unnoticed.
