"Legal Assistant"   - Anonymous      Write an Anonymous Review

Advice to law firm management: In order to retain loyal, hardworking talent, you need to be more respectful of flexible hours.

Pros: As a college graduate, working as a Legal Assistant, I was exposed to a lot of interesting assignments. Once you prove to the Associates and Partners that you're reliable and get your work done on time, they tend to give you more responsibility.

Cons: Like most Big Law Firms, the hours are long. Additionally, it is expected that you will work long hours and often this assumption is taken for granted. As a young person, I had the time to commit to working, but now that I have a family, working long hours is not plausible.

Favorite Things About this Firm: Training programs were very interesting and Associated, Partners, and Legal Assistants were invited and encouraged to attend.

"Outstanding firm with a culture geared toward success."   - Anonymous      Write an Anonymous Review

- Reviewed on Jun 05, 2017

Advice to law firm management: Make sure this type of work environment suits you. You may not be the type to thrive under the "win at all costs" workplace approach. It's wise to ensure you are the type who can thrive here.

Pros: Outstanding firm with a culture geared toward success.

Cons: Sometimes the high-octane "win at all costs" mentality can take a toll, especially if you're not used to that environment as an associate. It can be exhausting putting in so much work week after week, month after month. You will have to be self-motivated to succeed here.
