Always stay in contact with client weekly or biweekly.

Won my case, that's all I wanted was to get something rather than nothing. To feel that they didn't get away with murder and I benefitted a little bit and they saw some repercussions in their decisions.

Took a little more of my winnings than anticipated but did do all the work with no upfront payments! Really should go at those big companies though. Settlement numbers a little fuzzy..who gets what, who gets taxed what later, several payments, lost payments. Payment later in the year that got lost in mail that was not cashable..don't know if I got whole settlement and why I had to pay extra taxes again.

1st 2 tiers ..didn't really seem to fight to hard although the case was cut and dry.

Everything was taken care of over the phone and through email. Winnings direct deposited to bank account.

Sometimes the firm gets caught up on menial procedural "issues". I know they have their purpose, but at times it seems like it isn't the best use of firm time to review details that staff should be working on.

Spitz is a great place to be. Other previous attorneys that try to scare you came out of law school expecting to have a 10 person case load and work 40 hours a week. What you get here is the ability to negotiate in a pre-litigation environment while getting tons of litigation experience with managing partners, who slowly hand you your own cases after working side-by-side. The motto here is "Family First", and I have never once emailed Brian or the CEO and have them not get back to me in a timely manner. Staff here is awesome too, typically as a staff member (paralegal) you prepare and send correspondence docs and schedule for your attorney. Staff and Attorneys here are pretty close. The turnover I've seen in over a year here comes from people who show up late, missed a deadline and argue about it. Bottom line, the partners are great people and civil litigation is a fast-paced job that you'll never be caught up on if you're good at it.

High case loads feel overwhelming, but there is an in-house docketing clerk, pre-set deadlines-to-file, and a huge attorney/staff support team that will help you.

This just seems like it was made to illicit a bad review. Why would you continue to work at a Firm where you don't like a partner?

Family first attitude. We are a team of friendly professionals that has a job to do, and we have fun while doing it. We solve problems together, and yeah we can get on each others nerves, but I've made some great friends and colleagues here.
