Advice to law firm management:
I do think that there needs to be more recognition given to individual lawyers who go above and beyond what is expected of them, especially since it is a really high stakes work place.
Pros:
I knew that working for this law firm would require the best out of me. Fortunately, I am surrounded by a lot of great associates that I like working with. There are also a lot of resources for me and other lawyers to use when it comes to attaining information and logistics we need when it comes to projects and cases. I also think the superiors take a lot of pride in the quality that the lawyers in the firm accomplish. Great work environment and pay. The benefits are also great. I don't expect less considering the reputation and history the firm has with clients.
Cons:
Because the firm has such an elite reputation in the industry, the superiors and managers do come down a bit on the associates. Sometimes it can be a bit over bearing but for the most part, it hasn't been affecting my work.
