Ashurst LLP. Reviews

Advice to law firm management: My advice is that you should believe in your abilities and must focus on your strengths. You can achieve heights in this firm if you work well and show discipline as well as dedication.

Pros: Management cares about my career goals and is open to help you with your career goals. Training provided by attorneys was up to the mark. The attorneys here are very knowledgeable and helpful. The environment is very fast paced but co-workers are nice so it makes it comfortable.

Cons: Sometime it was complete chaos in a very fast paced environment. The firm was always short staffed. And very little communication from Attorneys because they simply have no time.

Pro bono

Ashurst is committed to creating a world class pro bono programme on a global scale. James Collis, our Managing Partner says:

"As a law firm, the most effective pro bono contribution we can make is to use our knowledge and expertise to assist people and community organisations of limited means with our services."

We see the law as a profession that comes with ethical obligations including that of making the law available to all. Our pro bono programme allows our lawyers to fulfil this obligation and give back to the community.

The firm's vision - to be the best advisor for our clients and to offer our people an exceptional place to work - depends on, and is underpinned by, achieving a diverse and inclusive organisation. We can neither offer the incisive advice our clients demand nor provide a great community for our people without understanding and appreciating the significant range of benefits - access to the widest range of talent, greater productivity, improved staff engagement, increased levels of innovation and creativity - that getting diversity and inclusion right will deliver.
