I would find some way to increase advancement in some way. I think this would help the junior associates out a lot.
The work environment is very challenging and fast paced. The firm handles a lot of different cases so work is dynamic even within your own specialization. I found myself very busy but not entirely crushed by the work load. I found the work intellectually stimulating.
Advancement can take a while. The partners and seniors are very particular about what they want. I have seen if you do not meet every single standard you won't move up the ladder. This isn't entirely a bad thing and I have no other issues with them.
