While attending the George Washington University National Law Center full time, Tom built his character and honed his legal skills. He had the privilege of working with exceptional attorneys in Old Town, which laid the foundation for his future success.

After graduating in 1983, Tom became an associate at Cohen, Annad, Dunn, & Sinclair, a leading firm in Alexandria. During his time there, he handled a wide range of cases, including criminal, domestic relations, commercial, product liability, and personal injury. It was in personal injury law that Tom discovered his true passion and developed an unwavering compassion for those who had suffered unjustly.

Tom's dedication and commitment to his clients earned him a promotion to partner at what would eventually become Dunn, Curcio, Keating & Rohrstaff. After 20 years of honing his skills and building a reputation as a formidable advocate, Tom decided it was time to embark on a new journey. In 2004, he founded Curcio Law, a firm solely dedicated to personal injury cases and wrongful death.

Starting a new venture is never easy, but Tom's commitment, compassion, and character paved the way for Curcio Law's success. Over the years, the firm grew in size and reputation, attracting top legal talent. In 2010, Steve Bergeron, a successful defense attorney for Geico, joined the firm. Steve's experience in litigation and his mutual respect for Tom as an adversary made him the perfect addition to the team.

Together, Tom and Steve poured their hearts and souls into improving the firm and representing their clients. Their hard work paid off when Jennifer Porter, with her wealth of experience on both the defense and plaintiffs side of the law, joined the firm in 2015. The trio, with over 70 years of combined experience, formed a partnership that transformed Curcio Law into CurcioBergeron in 2016.
