It's obvious that the leadership team really wants employees to be happy, but they seem to have overlooked the fact that money does matter to people. It's nice to work with great people in a great building, but that doesn't mean we want to work for low pay.

The best thing about working at this firm is the fact that the leadership team really knows what they are doing. They go out of their way to foster an inclusive environment and are always sponsoring team building events to keep morale high. Everyone is kept abreast of firm business, and people feel invested in their job.

In my opinion the main thing that needs to be addressed is the compensation. The high quality work environment helps to offset the rather low pay, but it doesn't make it go away. If the pay were better this would be a top notch firm.

First off I would like to see our firm expand its current office, since it feels very confined at the moment after we recently hired a couple of new staff members. I also think that we should start to diversify our work and take on more interesting cases.

There is plenty of work to go around so there's not much idle time, which is a plus in my book. There is excellent room for growth and starting salary and benefits. Everyone is very friendly and will help you at the drop of a hat.

Work can be quite dull at times. We don't take on enough interesting cases in my opinion. The office feels somewhat confined and overcrowded at times.

Summer associate program

The Adams and Reese Summer Associate Program offers second-year law students the chance to work in a fast paced legal environment, while challenging law students with real world experiences that include claim investigation, legal analysis and writing, courtroom and deposition observation and special training seminars. Summer Associates are fully integrated into Adams and Reese working along side attorneys writing briefs, attending closings, preparing for trials and attending strategy sessions.

Each fall, Adams and Reese hires a select group of second year law students to participate in the Summer Associate Program. Summer Associates are offered a six-week session to share in our culture. We regard a six-week program as an ideal time frame for us to assess your professional potential and for summer associates to make a well-informed career decision about us.

We generally offer summer associate programs in all of our offices except the Nashville Music Row and Washington, DC offices. The program size varies from office to office and year to year based on anticipated hiring needs. We do not offer a 1L program nor do we consider first year law students for our Summer Associate Program.

We view our Summer Associate Program as our primary source for recruiting our new associates. We invite law students with excellent academic records and well-rounded backgrounds to take a look at how we run our organization. We are looking for people who are motivated and personable and whose educational and professional accomplishments forecast future achievements.
