What would you, or others, like to see changed at employer?
As with most law firms, your mileage may vary at this firm. But it is a good place to learn the ropes of the legal profession and make important contacts.
What were the things that you liked most about this employer?
This is a white-shoe law firm where clients pay top dollar for their representation. As an associate, you can bill clients with impunity. You may even get a bonus for good work. Your input is valued.
What did you not like about this institution?
There isn't one thing in particular about this firm that's bad, but you may take a long time to make partner, if that is your goal. You may also perceive a somewhat cut throat environment among associate attorneys.

Be prepared to put in a lot of time during your learning phase. You want to be ready for the big cases later on!
What were the things that you liked most about this employer?
There is no shortage of help and resources to get you started. Everyone is friendly and will do whatever they can to help you succeed.
What did you not like about this institution?
The scheduling can be overwhelming, but if you put in the hours, you are rewarded well. It's hectic but well worth it.

Be sure to ask questions when you have them so you don't feel overwhelmed and you'll be fine.
What were the things that you liked most about this employer?
I've been with Alley, Maass, Rogers & Lindsay, P.A. for over 7 years and they have treated me like family from day one.
What did you not like about this institution?
The work is hard at first, but if you ask questions they will help you. Hours are exhausting at times.

What would you, or others, like to see changed at employer?
Be careful with how your partners are treating clients. They may be underestimating some of them and it could cost your firm its reputation.
What were the things that you liked most about this employer?
Their certified legal assistants do their best to manage disgruntled clients.
What did you not like about this institution?
They do not follow protocols when dealing with clients a partner perceives to be questionable or below their standards (could potentially be secondary to racial/ethnic issues but would hate to make that accusation without additional information).
People, departments, offices, products, services and whatever comes to mind that should be avoided at this institution
Scott Hoffman. He ignorantly jump to assumptions about clients and treats then with a level of contempt that is unacceptable.
How could this employer run its business to employees or the public better?
