Summary:

Experience Information:
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
- Active member in good standing of at least one state bar

Responsibilities:
- Provide expert legal advice on privacy and data protection issues
- Assist business, compliance, risk, and legal partners in identifying privacy issues
- Support partners in building technical and organizational controls
- Collaborate with outside counsel, monitor legal developments and industry trends
- Develop training and educational materials

Basic Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
- Active member in good standing of at least one state bar
- At least 4 years of experience in a law firm, at a government agency, or as in-house counsel

Preferred Qualifications:
- A background in privacy law, regulatory counseling, and/or consumer financial services
- Familiarity with specific privacy laws such as GLBA, CCPA, CAN-SPAM, TCPA, HIPAA, GDPR
- Experience applying law to new technologies related to online advertising, email marketing, and financial technologies
