A law firm in Dallas, TX, is seeking a Commercial Real Estate Attorney with 4-8 years of experience. The attorney will focus on negotiating, drafting, and closing commercial real estate transactions, with expertise in the purchase, sale, construction/development, finance, and leasing of commercial, mixed-use, or multifamily properties.

Duties:

  • Utilize 4,000 hours of experience to negotiate, draft, and close complex commercial real estate transactions.
  • Address common issues and industry solutions in three or more of the following areas: purchase, sale, construction/development, finance, or lease of commercial real estate.
  • Manage and review title opinions, draft objection letters, and resolve deal-prohibitive title issues, coverage, and common ALTA endorsements.
  • Translate and apply residential or consumer real estate experience to commercial real estate practice.
  • Represent real estate owners, developers, managers, investors, or brokers in various transaction types.
  • Handle 60-80% of assignments involving commercial real estate representation.
  • Develop expertise in investment, corporate, and M&A transactions.
  • Expect virtually no involvement in single-family residential or consumer real estate transactions.
  • Gain insight into how real estate shapes commercial markets in Texas and nationwide.
  • Demonstrate technical proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Hold a Juris Doctor (.) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Be an active member in good standing with the Texas Bar.

Requirements:

  • 4-8 years of experience as a Commercial Real Estate Attorney.
