Legal Services of Northern Virginia (LSNV) is seeking a full-time Ryan White Staff Attorney to join their dedicated team. This position provides advice and representation to individuals living with HIV/AIDS on all civil legal issues within LSNV priorities. Job Title: Ryan White Staff Attorney
Organization: Legal Services of Northern Virginia (LSNV)
Location: Virginia (hybrid work model)
Salary: $65,000-$74,000 per year

Experience: Licensed with Virginia State Bar or two years of practice in another state, interest in working with clients of every sexual orientation and gender, commitment to social and racial justice, experience in community engagement and advocacy preferred, excellent communication skills, litigation and legal aid experience preferred, multi-lingual skills preferred

Essential Functions:
- Provides advice and representation to individuals living with HIV/AIDS on civil legal issues within LSNV priorities
- Conducts client interviews and determines level of services needed
- Travels to various LSNV offices, community partner agencies, and outreach events to meet with clients
- Develops and maintains relationships with community-based organizations that assist individuals living with HIV/AIDS
- Presents educational presentations to Ryan White agencies, community-based organizations, and medical and housing case workers
- Ensures program and LSNV services are in compliance with grant rules and regulations, including HIPAA requirements
- Provides support for grantor reporting process on behalf of LSNV
- Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
- Must be licensed with the Virginia State Bar or have two years of practice in another state
- Interest in working with clients of every sexual orientation and gender
- Commitment to social and racial justice, and/or public interest work preferred
- Experience in community engagement and advocacy preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Litigation and legal aid experience preferred
- Multi-lingual skills preferred
