Job Overview: A law firm in Fort Lauderdale, FL, seeks a skilled Corporate Debt Finance Associate Attorney with 3-5 years of experience. The ideal candidate will be proficient in negotiating, structuring, and documenting debt finance transactions, preferably with experience representing private equity sponsors, portfolio companies, or lenders in leveraged buyouts and acquisition financing transactions.

Job Duties:

• Negotiate, structure, and document debt finance transactions.
• Provide legal counsel and support to clients involved in leveraged buyouts and acquisition financing transactions.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Draft and review legal documents, including loan agreements, security, and other transactional documents.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external parties to facilitate smooth transaction processes.
• Assist in due diligence processes and risk assessments related to debt finance transactions.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in corporate debt finance transactions.
• Familiarity with negotiating, structuring, and documenting debt finance transactions.
• Experience representing private equity sponsors, portfolio companies, or lenders in leveraged buyouts and acquisition financing transactions is preferred.
• Excellent writing and analytical skills.
• Previous experience in an Am Law 100 law firm is preferred.
• Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school (classes 2019, 2020, or 2021).
• Admission to the Florida Bar.
