An undergraduate degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering is a requirement, with a preference for candidates having experience in prosecuting patent applications in the fields of mechanical and electrical engineering, and additional expertise in chemistry or biochemistry is highly valued. Candidates should bring approximately 3+ years of intellectual property experience to the table and hold a USPTO registration number, with an advanced technical degree being a preferred qualification.
