Duties:

• Manage a diverse portfolio of patent projects encompassing drafting, prosecution, post-grant proceedings, opinions, and due diligence.
• Conduct thorough analysis and research on patentability, infringement, and validity of life sciences patents.
• Collaborate with attorneys and clients to develop and execute patent strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Prepared and prosecuted patent applications before the USPTO, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and deadlines.
• Guide on intellectual property matters, including patent portfolio management and technology transfer.

Requirements:

• 1-10 years of experience as a Patent Agent, preferably in the life sciences sector.
• A master’s degree in Organic Chemistry or a related field, with a preference for PhD candidates.
• Alternatively, 2-3 years of experience in patent preparation and prosecution, specifically in small-molecule pharmaceuticals.
• Admission to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).

Education:

• Master’s degree in Organic Chemistry or a related field (PhD preferred).

Certifications:

• Admission to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).
