Position Summary: Become a part of Deloitte's Business Tax Services team as a Federal Senior Tax Manager. In this role, you will use your expertise and innovative technology to provide effective tax solutions for clients in various industries. You will also have the opportunity to grow and maintain client relationships and lead an engagement team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and develop strong client relationships on federal tax consulting and compliance engagements
- Identify client needs and utilize Deloitte's range of services to meet those needs and cross-sell among different lines of service
- Act as a trusted business advisor to clients on federal tax planning, compliance, and other tax-related issues
- Manage engagement profitability, billings, and team resources
- Assist with drafting and presenting proposals to new and existing clients
- Provide leadership, counseling, and career guidance for the development and motivation of the engagement team

The team assists with global tax challenges and helps transform the tax department to create greater impact and efficiency for clients.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- 8+ years of experience in federal tax compliance, planning, analysis, and research
- Active accreditation such as CPA, attorney, enrolled agent, or other related certifications
- Ability to travel up to 25% for work

Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree such as Masters of Tax, JD, or LLM
- Previous experience at a Big 4 or large CPA firm
- Proven ability to manage a book of business and establish a solid reputation as a subject matter expert in federal tax
- Management experience
- Experience working in a virtual or global environment
- Passion for leveraging technology and exploring new solutions
- Knowledge of accounting for income taxes in accordance with ASC740
- Excellent research, writing, and communication skills

Salary Information: The disclosed range estimate for this role is $119,490 to $238,680, taking into account factors such as skills, experience, and certifications. Compensation decisions are based on individual circumstances and may not be at the top of the range.
