Duties:

  • Demonstrate an interest in life sciences work.
  • Collaborate in teams and independently manage substantial components of transactions.
  • Provide legal counsel on corporate and transactional matters, including seed and venture capital transactions, corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, private and public offerings of securities, and SEC reporting.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the State Bar in California or eligibility for admission.
  • 2-4 years of experience in a broad range of corporate and transactional matters.
  • Experience in seed and venture capital transactions, corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, private and public offerings of securities, and SEC reporting.
  • Outstanding academic credentials.

 

Skills:

  • General experience in managing transactions independently.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Keen interest in life sciences work.
  • Familiarity with equity financing, IPOs, and M&A transactions.
