Duties:

  • Reviewing and drafting discovery responses, briefs, motions, and memoranda.
  • Utilizing strong project management skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Communicating effectively, both verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.
  • Producing deliverables, answering phone calls, and responding to correspondence promptly and efficiently.
  • Providing timely, accurate, and quality work products.
  • Meeting deadlines and expectations and performing work duties as required.
  • Undertaking any other duties, tasks, or projects as assigned.
  • State and federal court experience is a plus.

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in drafting litigation documents, including motions to dismiss, written discovery, and summary judgment motions in health care, ERISA, and commercial litigation matters.
  • Strong academic background from a nationally recognized school.
  • Transferable skills showcasing the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
  • Excellent communication, drafting, and interpersonal skills.

 

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active license to practice law in the state.

 

Skills:

  • Proficient in legal research and analysis.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills (both verbal and written).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
