Eligibility and Application Process:
The program is open to law students enrolled in an accredited ABA law school. Students must be able to intern a minimum of 20 hours per week or for a period prescribed by their college or school. To be considered for an internship, students must submit a completed application packet and meet the application deadline. Students who are not receiving academic credit are welcome to seek internship opportunities through participation in law school sponsored programs such as Pro Bono Programs, Law School sponsored clinics, and Law School Paid Stipend programs. Documentation must be provided.

Background Check and Certification:
Applicants must consent to a preliminary background screening, including a criminal background check on the FCIC/NCIC database. This information will be reviewed to determine the applicant's fitness and ability to work in the Office of the Attorney General. Applicants must certify that all information provided is true, correct, and made in good faith.

Affidavit of Good Moral Character:
Applicants must provide an affidavit of good moral character, stating that they have never been a witness in a criminal case or convicted or pled guilty to any offense other than minor traffic violations.
