Position Summary:

The Tax Transformation Senior Manager role within Deloitte Tax's Transformation Office is responsible for driving improvements in client service delivery through people, process, and technology. This role offers the opportunity to be part of an innovative team that delivers high value and quality services aligned with the Deloitte brand.

Responsibilities:

- Understand Tax business strategy and transformation aspirations
- Establish strong business relationships to drive delivery of business outcomes
- Coach and develop Tax Transformation team to enhance delivery capabilities
- Strategically manage multiple projects that span Tax Years
- Define and manage detailed workplans, resource estimates, and budgets
- Identify and deliver key results with clear status tracking
- Identify dependencies, risks, issues, and change requests and work with stakeholders to develop remediation plans
- Engage with Tax professionals to assess client service delivery pain points and identify opportunities for process improvement
- Utilize agile and design thinking techniques for business process analysis
- Collaborate throughout the technology development lifecycle
- Oversee user testing and review learning strategy and materials
- Assess business readiness and analyze user feedback to develop action plans
- Lead deployment and decommission legacy systems
- Provide executive reporting and integrate program and project resources

The Team:

Deloitte Tax LLP's Tax Transformation Office consists of professionals from various backgrounds, including Tax Professionals, Human Capital and Technology Consultants, Quality Assurance, and Technology Support. The team collaborates and executes a range of projects with a focus on process design, deployment, and adoption, as well as stakeholder analysis, communications, learning, and change management.

Qualifications:

Required:

- Ability to work in a hybrid model, co-locating in person 2-3 days per week
- Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or information technology related field
- 8+ years of relevant experience
- Ability to travel up to 25% on average, based on project work and phase of delivery cycle
- Active accreditation in one of the following:
- Licensed CPA in state of practice/primary office, or eligible to sit for the CPA
- Licensed Attorney
- Enrolled Agent
- Technology Certifications, such as SAFe®, Microsoft Certified, or Scrum

Preferred:

- Large scale transformation experience
- Strong Program and Project Management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Working knowledge of data analysis, management, and metrics
- End-to-end technology project delivery
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while delivering outstanding quality and meeting deadlines
- Experience in a professional service environment

Salary Information:

The disclosed wage range for this role takes into account various factors, including skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $125,510 to $285,749. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case, and it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role.
