A law firm in Mt. Pleasant, SC is seeking a Workers' Compensation Associate Attorney with a minimum of 2 years of experience in workers' compensation matters. Duties:

  • Represent clients in workers' compensation cases
  • Conduct legal research and analysis related to workers' compensation laws and regulations
  • Prepare and file legal documents, including pleadings and motions

  • Negotiate settlements and handle appeals when necessary

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in workers' compensation law
  • Strong knowledge of workers' compensation laws and regulations
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

 

Education:

Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school

 

Certifications:

Must be licensed to practice law in South Carolina

 

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of workers' compensation laws and regulations
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
