Chicago office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks an associate attorney with 4-7 years of proven experience focused primarily on finance transactions involving secured and unsecured credit facilities, special situation lending, and debt restructuring. The candidate will work together with the Firm's continuously expanding group of partners and associates across all offices who represent private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies, as well as credit funds and creditor groups on a variety of financing transactions that are bespoke, stressed, distressed, or otherwise more challenged than traditional leveraged finance transactions. Will collaborate with attorneys in other practices, including restructuring, private equity, and asset management, to negotiate and draft loan documentation, analyze capital structures, and manage and drive deals. Working as an associate at a law firm advising investment funds, investment banks, and companies. Should preferably have experience in special situations and distressed corporate transactions. Should have a sincere interest in this area of special situations finance. Must be admitted to practice in Massachusetts or eligible to obtain admission in the state promptly.
