A law firm in Atlanta is actively seeking a highly experienced Senior Business Immigration Attorney with 5+ years of expertise in employment and investment-based immigration matters. The candidate will represent clients, supervise junior staff, and contribute to the firm's business development efforts.

 

Duties:

  • Represent clients in employment and investment-based immigration matters, including H-1B, L-1, I-140 (EB1, EB2, EB3), E1/E2, PERM, RFE, NOID, Motion, or Appeals.
  • Appear for interviews or appointments before federal or state government agencies.
  • Supervise and review work prepared by paralegals, clerks, or junior attorneys, providing constructive feedback.
  • Communicate diligently with clients for legal inquiries, case status updates, and document collection.
  • Update case statuses diligently in the firm's case management and tracking systems.
  • Write legal articles or newsletters for the firm.
  • Attend business development meetings or deliver speeches in the community.
  • Follow the firm’s compliance policies and procedures.
  • Communicate with the team diligently for internal inquiries.
  • Share the firm’s values, taking ownership and accountability in delivering the highest quality legal services to clients.
  • Attend the firm’s scheduled meetings and trainings.

 

Requirements:

  • . or . from an ABA-approved law school.
  • Active member in good standing of any State Bar in the United States.
  • Familiarity with immigration case management systems.
  • 5+ years of experience in business immigration.
  • Strong legal research and writing skills in preparing declarations, motions, and briefs.
