Tax Senior - Sustainability, Climate & Equity - Renewable Energy Deloitte Tax LLP is currently seeking a Tax Senior to join our Business Tax Services (“BTS”) practice. The Tax Senior will work with renewable energy clients that develop, build, own, and operate renewable energy projects across more than 150 countries and regions worldwide. This position offers the opportunity to work with a well-respected team of experienced and knowledgeable professionals in a rapidly growing practice focused on renewable energy and sustainability. Responsibilities: - Advise clients on tax issues related to renewable energy projects - Deliver value to clients by identifying opportunities and advising on potential benefits and eligibility requirements for tax credits and incentives - Prepare tax returns and provide advisory services related to renewable energy tax equity structures - Maintain and develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders - Monitor legislative and regulatory tax developments related to renewable energy and sustainability - Support internal initiatives and special tax projects Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, law, business administration, economics, or related field - 3+ years of experience in a related field - Ability to travel up to 25% - Strong analytical, research, and communication skills - Proven leadership abilities - Knowledge of partnership taxation and willingness to learn and retool in the renewable energy industry - Active accreditation such as CPA, licensed attorney, enrolled agent, or CFA/CFP - Advanced degree (Masters of Tax, JD, or LLM) preferred - Strong organizational and time management skills - Experience in a virtual and/or global environment preferred - Passion for leveraging technology and exploring new solutions - Previous experience at a Big 4 or large CPA/law firm preferred Salary range: $63,420 to $144,300 Benefits: - Competitive salary and annual incentive program - Comprehensive health and wellness benefits - Professional development opportunities - Inclusive and diverse culture - Commitment to sustainability, equity, and trust - Mentorship and leadership opportunities Deloitte is an equal opportunity employer and considers all qualified applicants regardless of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, or protected veteran status.
