Executive Director, Associate General Counsel-Litigation: Experienced Business Support Services

KPMG, a top-ranked professional services firm, is seeking an experienced Executive Director and Associate General Counsel-Litigation to join their Office of General Counsel team. This role will specifically focus on providing legal support for the Litigation group, specifically on the Practice Protection Team.

Responsibilities:
- Provide counsel for civil litigation, third-party subpoenas, and regulatory investigations
- Represent the firm and its professionals in civil litigation and regulatory proceedings
- Develop and implement strategies for successful and cost-effective resolution of legal matters
- Supervise and collaborate with outside counsel and other members of the Office of General Counsel
- Report to and consult with senior leadership on legal issues arising in litigation and regulatory matters
- Assist in developing financial projections for legal matters

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 18 years of experience in a well-regarded law firm or in-house legal department
- Experience with complex civil litigation and regulatory investigations involving accounting firms or financial institutions preferred
- JD or LLM from an accredited law school and licensed to practice law in the US
- Experience with the Division of Enforcement of the SEC or PCAOB a plus
- Ability to manage multiple legal matters simultaneously and meet deadlines with high-quality results
- Excellent analytical, writing, and communication skills
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to build business partnerships

Salary Information:

- Salary is determined based on relevant factors such as skills, experience, and market considerations
