The candidate will assume a high level of responsibility in state and federal court matters, primarily defending financial institutions. Ideal candidates will possess strong research, writing, and analytical reasoning skills. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in financial services, contested foreclosure, and/or Massachusetts commercial or real estate litigation. Massachusetts Bar admission is required, and admission to Connecticut, Rhode Island, and/or New Hampshire is a plus.

 

Duties:

  • Assume a high level of responsibility in state and federal court matters, defending financial institutions.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on financial services litigation issues.
  • Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
  • Provide support in contested foreclosure matters.
  • Collaborate with a legal team to develop case strategies.
  • Participate in court proceedings and hearings.

 

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in financial services litigation.
  • Strong research, writing, and analytical reasoning skills.
  • Experience in contested foreclosure and/or Massachusetts commercial or real estate litigation is preferred.

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from a reputable law school.

 

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Massachusetts Bar.
  • Admission to Connecticut, Rhode Island, and/or New Hampshire (a plus).

 

Skills:

  • Strong research and analytical reasoning skills.
  • Proficient in drafting legal documents.
  • Experience in financial services litigation.
