Senior Counsel, Governance at Leading Financial Services Company Vanguard

This role will provide legal support to Vanguard's investment management and product development groups, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Key Responsibilities:

- Provide legal advice to business leaders on issues impacting Vanguard's business activities
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations for Vanguard's investment funds
- Develop expertise in global investment law and the asset management industry
- Proactively tackle novel issues through collaboration and problem-solving skills
- Engage with regulators at the state and federal level
- Draft and negotiate legal documents
- Manage any work being done by outside counsel

Qualifications:

- 5 plus years of relevant legal work experience
- Familiarity with federal securities laws and banking laws is a plus
- Excellent judgment, communication, and relationship management skills
- Undergraduate degree and Law degree (JD)
