Job Title: Tax Senior Manager - Large Corporations
Experience: 7+ years of relevant progressive tax experience

FORVIS, a professional services firm providing assurance, tax, and advisory services, is seeking a Tax Senior Manager to join their team in Tampa, FL. In this role, you will lead and develop a team while providing tax compliance and advisory services to C-corporation entities with a focus on C-Corp compliance and ASC 740 tax provisions. You will also have the opportunity to work with clients from a variety of industries, including manufacturing and distribution, construction and real estate, professional services, and technology.

Responsibilities:

Manage tax compliance, tax provision, and tax advisory services to C-corporation entities
Develop and manage client relationships
Provide exceptional client service and exceed client expectations
Represent FORVIS at networking events
Participate in proposal process for potential new clients
Assign projects and resolve scheduling conflicts
Contribute to FORVIS-sponsored technical guidance
Manage and coach professional tax staff
Review returns prepared by tax staff
Research complex tax issues and communicate findings in writing

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
CPA license
7+ years of relevant progressive tax experience in public accounting or a combination of corporate tax and public accounting experience

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree in Accounting, Taxation, law, or related field
Experience with OneSource tax software
