KPMG is seeking an Executive Director to join our Office of General Counsel (OGC), specifically in our Litigation group. This role will provide legal support and counsel on a variety of civil litigation, regulatory investigations, and other legal matters. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in a well-regarded law firm or in-house legal department, with a strong background in defending complex litigations and regulatory investigations involving accounting firms, professional organizations, or financial institutions. Responsibilities:

- Provide counsel on civil litigation, third-party subpoenas, and regulatory investigations
- Represent KPMG and its professionals in legal proceedings
- Develop and implement strategies for successful resolution of litigation claims and investigations
- Supervise and collaborate with outside counsel and other members of OGC
- Report to and consult with senior leadership on legal issues
- Assist in financial projections for legal matters

Qualifications:

- Minimum 18 years of experience in a well-regarded law firm or in-house legal department
- JD or LLM from an accredited law school and licensed to practice law in the .
- Experience with SEC, PCAOB, or similar regulatory agencies a plus
- Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines with high-quality results
- Excellent analytical, writing, and communication skills
- Strong collaboration and client-service orientation

California Salary Range: $331,000 - $737,000
