A law firm based in New York City, NY, is in search of a Mid-level Financial Restructuring Associate Attorney with 3–4 years of experience in a top-tier law firm. The ideal candidate should bring a wealth of knowledge in out-of-court and in-court restructurings, with experience drafting plans, disclosure statements, and plan support agreements. The role will encompass involvement in 363 sales, analysis, and drafting of inter-creditor and subordination agreements, as well as participation in clawback actions and evaluation of leases, executory contracts, and intellectual property licenses. The candidate is expected to have a comprehensive understanding of the Bankruptcy Code and a solid grasp of Article 9 secured transactions. Strong academic credentials, equivalent law firm experience, and excellent research skills are prerequisites for this position, in addition to admission to the New York Bar.

Duties:

• Handle a broad range of out-of-court and in-court restructurings.
• Draft plans, disclosure statements, and plan support agreements.
• Participate in 363 sales and contribute to clawback actions.
• Analyze and draft inter-creditor and subordination agreements.
• Evaluate leases, executory contracts, and intellectual property licenses.
• Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the Bankruptcy Code.
• Apply solid knowledge of Article 9 secured transactions to legal matters.

Requirements:

• 3–4 years of relevant legal experience.
• Experience with a top-tier law firm.
