Job Title: Part-Time Litigation Attorney (Remote)

Experience: 5+ years

Salary: $80 to $100 per hour

Job Description:

Provide support to the firm’s litigation practice group by handling third-party subpoena requests and responses for a global DWT client.
Work remotely as part of the firm’s flexible and alternative-track attorney program, DWTSurge.
Collaborate with DWT attorneys and clients to provide high-value legal services.
Work an average of 25 hours per week with flexibility to increase hours as needed.
Negotiate and respond to third-party subpoenas with strong negotiation skills.
Build and maintain client relationships.
Produce high-quality work product with minimal supervision.
Manage deadlines and communicate effectively with clients.
Handle both high volume programmatic legal matters and high-impact strategic complex litigation.
This is a temporary contract position with potential for renewal on an ongoing, yearlong basis.
Part-time contract attorneys may be eligible for 401(k) and paid sick leave.
Additional benefits include telemedicine, employee assistance program, pet insurance, wellness benefits, and more.
Paid sick leave accrues biweekly at a rate of 1 hour per 30 hours worked.
Salary range for this position is $80 to $100 per hour, based on experience and skill level.
Washington bar admission is required.

Job Requirements:

5+ years of litigation experience in a law firm or in-house legal setting.
Experience responding to and negotiating third-party subpoenas.
Bar admission in Washington state.
Scalable, high volume experience with an emphasis on representing large technology corporations preferred.
Availability to work an average of 25 hours per week with flexibility to increase hours as needed.
Strong negotiation skills and client-relationship building skills.
Excellent writing skills, attention to detail, and ability to produce high-quality work product with minimal supervision and direction.
Confidence managing deadlines and effective communication with clients about deadlines.
Demonstrated success working on both high volume programmatic legal matters and high-impact strategic complex litigation.
Interest in pursuing a more flexible way of providing continuous, high-value legal services to the firm and clients.
