The ideal candidate will handle various injury matters from pre-litigation through trial preparation, engage directly with clients, perform motion practice, conduct depositions, settle cases, and manage all aspects of litigation. Strong verbal and writing skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment are essential.

Duties:

• Handle all types of injury matters from pre-litigation through trial preparation.
• Engage directly with clients to understand their cases and provide legal counsel.
• Perform motion practice, including drafting and arguing motions in court.
• Take and defend depositions of witnesses and experts.
• Settle cases through negotiation and mediation.
• Conduct all aspects of litigation, including discovery, hearings, and trials.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience practicing law, preferably in personal injury.
• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to the Connecticut State Bar, with good standing.
• Strong verbal and writing skills, with the ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly and effectively.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage caseload efficiently.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients.
• Familiarity with relevant legal software and technology.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admitted to the Connecticut State Bar, with good standing.
