Job Summary:
Leica Biosystems, a global leader in cancer diagnostics, is seeking a Senior Counsel to join their legal and compliance team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse, global team and make a difference in the fight against cancer. This is a remote position, allowing for flexible work arrangements.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide practical and solution-oriented legal advice on a variety of complex issues and risks
- Negotiate and draft agreements addressing legal issues and risks
- Partner with specialist attorneys on IP, employment, regulatory, compliance, and M&A matters
- Manage disputes, including litigations
- Identify and implement process improvement initiatives

Requirements:
- JD from an accredited . law school and active bar membership in good standing
- 6+ years of experience with complex commercial and corporate transactions
- Ability to manage a global client base and prioritize effectively
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the Diagnostic/IVD or medical device industry
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations, such as fraud and abuse, FDA, data privacy, and anti-corruption

Salary Information:
This position offers a salary range of $160,000 - $180,000, with potential for bonus/incentive pay. This range may be modified in the future.
