Senior Trust Officer - Hartford, Connecticut Bank of America is seeking a highly qualified Senior Trust Officer to join our team in Hartford, Connecticut. As a Senior Trust Officer, you will have the opportunity to manage a book of fiduciary and investment management accounts and work with high net worth clients and beneficiaries, including multi-generational families. Responsibilities: - Administrative and business development of complex IM&T accounts - Educate clients, associates, and COIs on trust products - New business development with a focus on estate/financial planning - Ensure compliance with OCC regulations and trust policies - Partner with Private Bank teams to drive business development and close new trust business - Identify opportunities to deepen relationships with current client base - Meet with key clients to maintain relationships and provide trust, estate, and wealth transfer planning advice - Engage with other specialists within Bank of America's Private Bank to meet client needs - Resolve client issues and oversee risk management activities - Identify at-risk clients and take proactive steps to retain them Requirements: - and a minimum of 5 years of trust administration and estate planning experience preferred - Fiduciary professional with CTFA, CFP, AEP, JD, or CPA (or 6 months away from obtaining certification) preferred Key Competencies: - Technical expertise in trust administration, fiduciary law, and estate and wealth transfer planning - Proactive approach to problem solving - Ability to provide solutions within the Bank's risk/reward profile - Strong communication and team player skills - Knowledge of policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements - Ability to understand and address high net worth clients' concerns - Proven ability to close sales and drive business development Skills: - Business development and client management - Customer and client focus - Risk management and wealth planning - Attention to detail and critical thinking - Financial analysis and planning - Presentation and process management - Decision making and prospecting This is a full-time position with a 1st shift schedule and 40 hours per week.
