Job Overview: A law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney to handle Plaintiffs' personal injury matters from inception to trial preparation. The ideal candidate should possess strong experience in motion practice and discovery practice, along with excellent communication and analytical skills.

Duties:

  • Manage Plaintiffs' personal injury cases from initiation to trial preparation.
  • Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
  • Handle discovery, including drafting and responding to written discovery requests, conducting depositions, and preparing witnesses.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, including motion hearings, settlement conferences, and trials.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and courts.

Requirements:

  • 5 years of experience in plaintiffs' personal injury cases.
  • Admission in good standing to the New Jersey Bar is required.
  • Admission to the New York and Pennsylvania bars is a plus.
  • Strong experience in motion practice and discovery practice.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Dedication to providing exceptional legal services to clients.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Bi-lingual (Spanish/English - written and spoken) is a plus.

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the New Jersey Bar is required.
  • Admission to the New York and Pennsylvania bars are preferred.

Skills:

  • Ability to manage a caseload and meet deadlines.
